The "We the UAE 2031" strategy, launched in November 2022, sets ambitious development targets for the UAE. One of the key priorities is to create a "physically and mentally healthy, active society that contributes positively to the life of its communities and economy." To achieve this goal, efforts are being combined from government bodies, institutions, and the private sector.

"We the UAE 2031": key directions and principles

The "We the UAE 2031" strategy is a national development plan for the UAE over the next decade, launched on November 22, 2022. It aims to strengthen the country's position as a global economic hub and improve the quality of life for its population.

The strategy aims to transform the UAE into a global center for innovation, sustainable development, and economic prosperity by 2031. "We the UAE 2031" is built on four pillars:

  • Forward Society — developing social wellbeing, including education, healthcare, and preserving cultural identity.
  • Forward Economy — diversifying the economy, investing in innovation and human capital.
  • Forward Diplomacy — strengthening the UAE's role in international relations, promoting peace and sustainable development.
  • Forward Ecosystem — developing infrastructure, digitization, and implementing AI technologies in public administration.
Technology — the key to change

The fruits of technological progress are one of the key tools for achieving the ambitious goals of "We the UAE 2031". Both the public and private sectors are actively implementing innovations for the benefit of society, and we at Stayf are no exception.
Our team continuously expands technological capabilities and improves methodology. In 2024, a virtual assistant based on AI will appear on the digital platform. Its main task is to serve as a guide in the world of sports and healthy living. Our coach can quickly provide qualified answers to employees' questions, remind them of activities, and offer support.

Innovations in action

In the spirit of the "We the UAE 2031" strategy, Stayf is developing technological solutions to enhance wellbeing. Our platform offers digital opportunities where traditional HR methods fall short.

  • Wellbeing programs allow people from different cities and countries to connect. For example, the program for Schneider Electric employees brought together colleagues from 18 countries. Together, they spent 658 hours on activities, took 7.5 million steps, and averaged 60 minutes of exercise per week.

"We the UAE 2031" calls for creating the necessary conditions to strengthen the "Society of the Future" (Forward Society), as defined by the UAE strategy, through enhancing the quality of human capital. We share this philosophy and strive to contribute to improving people's wellbeing.

  • The J&J case demonstrates how a wellbeing program initiated positive changes not only in physical health but also in mental wellbeing. The app became an internal social platform where employees communicated in chats (sending 2,647 messages), shared moments of happiness (96% viewed each other's stories), and expressed emotions (giving 27,331 likes and 4,139 reactions to messages).
  • The Fintech Challenge is another opportunity to make the project not just a team-building tool but also to enhance social responsibility. For employees, participating in the challenge became a double victory: they improved their health, enhanced their wellbeing, regained motivation, and directed €2,000 to those in dire need.

As Maxim Zhurylo, the founder of the platform, notes: "Numerous studies confirm that the level of happiness and wellbeing in the workplace can and should be consciously developed. We carefully study these principles and integrate them into the architecture of Stayf." We strive to follow this strategy and create solutions that not only change the habits of individuals but also contribute to larger initiatives.
